Evaluation

How well do the claims survive the evidence?

A deterministic evaluation of the four propositions in the current working model. These states describe the incorporated corpus; they are not confidence scores or claims of truth.

Current evaluation

Four claims. Evidence exposed.

01 · Apparition

Agentic engineering actors have appeared

EMERGING
What would resolve this?

Under what conditions does an AI-enabled engineering configuration become a meaningful agentic engineering actor rather than remain an interactive tool?

Evidence to look for
  • Evidence of meaningful software-engineering action without continuous human operation
  • Evidence that context, tools, execution, permissions, and feedback form a viable engineering object
02 · Selection

Engineering environments select among viable variants

Inspect mapped evidence
What would resolve this?

Which engineering-environment conditions materially determine which viable agent variants remain reliable and economical as scale and autonomy increase?

Evidence to look for
  • Comparative outcomes across materially different agent configurations
  • Evidence connecting Context, Execution, Verification, Coordination, Observability, Economics, or Learning conditions to viability
  • Evidence of differential persistence or effectiveness as scale increases
03 · Cooperation

Cooperation can improve agentic engineering fitness

CONTESTED
What would resolve this?

Does cooperation among agentic engineering actors, humans, and systems improve engineering fitness relative to useful isolated operation?

Evidence to look for
  • Comparative outcomes between cooperating and isolated operation
  • Coordination cost alongside the benefit produced by cooperation
  • Evidence that any cooperation advantage persists across repeated engineering work
04 · Specialization

Persistent cooperation can produce higher-order engineering objects

CONTESTED
What would resolve this?

Does persistent differentiated cooperation produce an engineering system that becomes the meaningful unit of operation?

Evidence to look for
  • Stable differentiated roles or capabilities
  • Persistent cooperation rather than one-off orchestration
  • Integration that produces system-level engineering outcomes
  • Evidence that the cooperating system is treated as a meaningful higher-order engineering object
Evaluation semantics

Counts are not votes.

UNOBSERVED means no evidence is mapped to the claim. EMERGING means SUPPORTS or REFINES evidence exists without contradiction or inconclusive mappings. CONTESTED means at least one mapped record is INCONCLUSIVE and none CONTRADICTS the claim. CHALLENGED means at least one record explicitly contradicts the claim.

Contradiction dominates the state: supporting volume cannot erase challenging evidence. Producer diversity and provenance remain properties of the underlying records rather than hidden numeric weights.
